Any indication on how the winds are going to be on the bike course?

Best bike split is showing a slight headwind going out with a tail wind coming back at around 40mi. Wind speed 10mph

Not sure that's accurate. On shore flow so the wind will be coming from the southwest... so headwind on that section coming back to T2 which is the norm.

Latest weather reports make for a perfect day on Sat.

Yeah, my BBS has since changed and now shows a head wind basically from mile 28 on

Swim Course Change:

Here's the official announcement:
IMPORTANT RACE DAY UPDATE:
'After consulting with the City of Oceanside Lifeguards and multiple surf forecasting tools, we are moving the planned beach start to the harbor, and the swim portion of the race will take place entirely in the harbor (as in years past), as wave heights of up to 4 feet are expected on Race Day.
Athlete safety is our top priority, and we are here to make sure your Race Day goes as smoothly as possible.
