In his campaign memoir “Let Trump Be Trump,” Lewandowski described the unusual breadth of Hicks’s responsibilities.

“When we landed, it was Hope’s job to steam him. ‘Get the machine!’ he’d yell,” Lewandowski wrote. “And Hope would take out the steamer and start steaming Mr. Trump’s suit, while he was wearing it! She’d steam the jacket first and then sit in a chair in front of him and steam his pants.”

* former experience as model
* undergrad degree in English
* hired to do marketing for Ivanka's clothing line
* caught Donnie's attention (ahem)
* joined campaign at age 26, as a Girl Friday
* departs age 29 as POTUS' most important advisor?

I'll go out on a limb and say her modeling exp and killer good looks are what got her hired by Ivanka. And why Donnie brought her on as personal eye candy. The idea that her departure could cause Trump's personal unraveling is a sad commentary on the state of this administration.

I say the same about this girl. Had she been well qualified and less than mediocre in appearance, she probably would never been hired.

I love the 'bestseller' creds on the book cover. It's well-known that publishers often pre-purchase enough copies of these books to bump them onto the 'bestseller' list.
For the life of me, I can't imagine that book has sold more a handful of copies.

I've always wondered how a book is on the "best-seller" list the day it is released.

I had assumed this was roughly what happened. Coming just after she made the white lies comment, it was the most likely explanation.

She's probably relieved to be out, prepping her book deal.
