Monaco 70.3
I have recently had a number of vacation / travel plans for 2006 fall through, and found a listing for the 2006 Monaco 70.3 event.

Where is a good place to stay?

Will shipping my bike be a hassle?

Do I need to change out my aero bars to meet the EU standards? (Closed loop)

Do you need a car or is everything within reasonable walking distance?

Any other tidbits would be helpful.

The intent would be to extend our stay for the following week and tour France etc.

Merci, Colin

ridefree...send a PM to Ironguide. He'll give you the full scoop. It is certainly on my list of races to do. Not on the agenda for this year, but perhaps 2007. It has everything I like, mega hills, switchbacks, heat heat heat, and wind wind wind. Plus you get to run on the F1 track/streets through Monte Carlo. I have this thing about racing on Formula 1 courses. See my article on www.xtri.com.

Back in 1989, I had a chance to drive my Honda CRX as hard as possible on the F1 course in Montreal. Let's just say I nearly rolled the car at 150 kph going through the chicane...

Thanks Dev.

I live in Montreal so i know the allure an F1 track can have. I've been on it but, never at speed.
