You know when you change apartments and get your deposit back from the previous apartment and it seems like new found money. Well, I'm taking advantage of this so-called new found money and buying something with it. With $800, what should I buy, a tri-bike frameset (I currently have a road bike) or a power tap?

Yes, unfortunately for me, I'm on the wrong side. I am in a condo complex with tons of units for sale, and going for $10,000 less than I bought in at 3 years ago.

The worst part is that I am likely heading out of Michigan, so I don't get the benefit of going into a cheap house somewhere. So I'm selling low and buying high, brilliant!

The best part is all the new condos and town-houses going in around me, killing the market even more. Doesn't look like I'll be getting a new bike anytime soon.

I have no idea, hopefully somewhere out east. I just finished up school and I am now trying to figure out what I am going to be doing with the rest of my life. Not an easy decision. I love Michigan, so I'm not that eager to move - unless it is out east somewhere. No where else really appeals that much to me.


Man did this thread get hijacked. I blame Tom Demerly.

With the $800 I'd buy a frameset. Actually, I'd take a vacation with my bike, but you didn't offer that option.
