I've ridden the the supersonic 40's, ride like a dream. You can pick them up on ebay in the $400-$500 range. They are the only carbon rim I've ridden, so I have no frame of reference, but I wouldn't hesitate to spend that much on a set if I had the cash. The 60's come up every so often and sell in the $500-$600 range as well. Don't pay retail, these are a dime a dozen as takeoffs.
