After they announced Mark first place in his AG, he informed the RD that another athlete had a faster time and was the actual winner. They made the correction and the proper awards were handed out putting Mark in second. It's great to know that honesty and sportsmanship live on in local events. Good job Mark!

Good man.
customerjon @gmail.com is where information happens.
Nice to see people in my age group with such class. Great job Mark. By the way, was that you I saw at the top of Heartbreak hill heading towards Honolulu on Friday about 11:00am?
Mahalo,

Thanks JC,
I was beaten fair-and-square by a better athlete, and also a good friend. If it was done to me, I am sure that Daryl would have done exactly the same thing and corrected the wrong.
Sorry that this pushed you to 4th. Great race. See you next season, or at soccer!
Matt,
Thanks Matt.
Nope it was not me - have not been on the bike since the end of October - and boy-oh-boy is my my neck and legs sore after yesterdays race.
