Garmin HRM-TRI Died

My HRM-TRI died after only about 8 months use. Anyone else have this happen. I changed the battery to no avail. It was working just before getting into the water in Cozumel then it died.

That sucks. I seem to kill HRMs about every 6-8 months like clockwork and I was thinking of giving that one a try next. On paper, it seemed like it might be a bit more robust.

Give Garmin a call. They are pretty cool and usually ship you a replacement the same day you call them.

I know this is an older post but I just had the same thing happen.

HRM-Tri (the blue one) just stopped working. Fortunately I still had the box and reciept (yes i'm a geek and keep those things - mostly so I can resell it later) and had it for less than a year. I called Garmin and the are sending me a replacement at no cost. Very easy, no argument from them at all. +1 on the good customer service.
