Triathlon Calender
So I am trying to plan out my events for next year. I am in for IM USA and was looking to do a few races before then one or two after. Where is the best place to find a list of events? I went to USA Tri site but they only had 20o5 races listed.

Thanks

Bob

OK here's my problem, they are listing the 2005 races. But I am looking for a list of 2006 races.

On the whole, only the bigger races are all set for next year. A lot of smaller races will not change their website until the end of the winter, or later.

Check on nearby states. Some have 2006 races listed.

It looks like you're in New Hampshire...perhaps your local / regional triathlon clubs will have a good race calendar?

The LA Tri Club has a very comprehensive race calendar, but it is oriented primarily (but not exclusivly) towards races in California and the west coast. Though not too many races are yet listed for 2006, you can look at the 2005 section to help plan since the races will generally be roughly the same time of the year in 2006. You can click on the link to the race website to confirm the race date...but, as has been discussed already, not all race websites are updated for 2006.

Give it a try: http://www.latriclub.com/racing/

Aside from that, and simply googling the names of races you are considering, I agree that trifind is a good bet.

Good luck!

Lake Placid '06 will be my A race as well. If you're in New Hampshire, the Mooseman 1/2 would be a great tune-up. My plan is to race Mooseman, head to the LP area to train for a few days then take part in Devashish Paul's Epicman.
