have u listened to between the buried and me? they do some beautiful melodies which are interpersed throughout rather violent songs.



i dont like phil anselmo. white trash dickhead. hence no pantera for me. for relaxing stuff i'd rather listen to nile at about half volume.



today i have been feeling kinda angry so i might have to go blast some hatebreed or throwdown when i get home. maybe some 'smash your enemies' by hatebreed.

martyr ad could also be a goer.

never listened to trivium or mushroomhead. i just watched some hatebreed vids online and that has made me somewhat less grumpy. who said angry music only made you angrier? for me it is cathartic.

I find that also. In college my roomies would toss on Metallica, biohazard or prong to get ready to go out and I'd fall asleep.

Loud angry music = peace and harmony

The dude does need a shower and de-lousing (sp?) for sure, and maybe an ass - kicking for that matter.

When I'm driving to a short course race (and when my car mates can stomach it) the louder / crunchier, the better. Short course success seems to go together with adrenaline/ fire / anger which, for me, helps to come out with some pissed music.
