I have a business trip to Scottsdale in Nov. I have never been to AZ but will have a weekend to get outta town and seek some activity with a friend. I could see renting road or mtn bikes, or doing some hiking or trail running. Any suggestions on "best of" bets for trails, roads, rental shops and where to stay, maybe out of town, to best access this kind of stuff. Not big on the big$$$ resort spa scene but wouldn't mind a nice jacccuzzi and memorable meal at the end of each day either.
