After much practice on old bikes, my bikes, and friend's bikes... I completed a soup to nuts overhaul of my tri bike today without any mistakes.
From disassembly to riding took me 6 hours (which is fast for me). What I did:
- new Ultegra front/rear brakes
- new Dura-Ace front/rear derailleur
- new Wippermann 9x1 stainless chain
- new FSA Pro Team Issue carbon crank
- new FSA Ti BB
- new Profile Design BDC fork (this took me the longest, removing the headset was a bitch)
Once I get the new tires loaded on my race wheels I'll take a pic and post. I guess this saved me the time and money of getting a tune-up before IMFL.
