Inexpensive But Cool/Lightweight Bottle Cages

Any suggestions? I am building up a new road bike and want something lightweight, cool looking and preferably silver, black or green but can't see spending $40 just for something to hold my water bottle.

lightweight, cool looking, and inexpensive cannot go in the same sentence.

Its in the rules.

I thought the saying was, "strong, lightweight, inexpensive... pick two" ;-)

Yeah, go to performance. They make a carbon cage for like 18 bucks.

Specialized makes a good, lightweight cage for under $20 called the Rib Cage Pro.

Trek Bat Cages. ~45g and $15. They hold bottles well. The newer Race Lite cages are nice too.

ahhh yes. the simplicity and elegance of the basic water bottle cage. It's a thing of beauty. So simple yet so funtional when mounted on the frame mount bosses of just about any bike.

taxc taos - cool looking lightweight inexpensive and a piece of sh*t!

I went through three of them. There is a basic design flaw - they use a separate piece of plastic glued to the cage where the cage is bolted to the bike. On each cage this bond broke, rendering the cage useless. Maybe I just got a poor batch, but I'll not use them again.
