I'm like you; I'd like to get a review from Tom D. on this frame. I also e-mailed BianchiUSA concerning this frame a week ago and have not heard back from them either. I'd also like to know if this frame was made in Italy or Taiwan.

This frame is my new incentive. It's my wallpaper, and I have printed it out. Unfortunately what I am afraid of is being in Canada, it is going to be one of those things that I may have to order site unseen.

These were photos off a cd my bianchi rep gave me. But I beliece 06 stuff may be up on the bianchi international site. I know I was looking at them on some consumer site less than a week later.

Yes, if you go to the website they have the Sport, MTB and Corsa lines up but no singlespeeds, cyclocross, commuter bikes are posted.

???? I was just at www.bianchiusa.com, they have all the bikes up - look under speciality.

Well unless I have a great finish to this year in sales, I don't know about the Crono. MSRP is $2,500 US, and to boot, I highly doubt anyone in Canada is going to carry it, which means if I want it, gotta order it before I even know how it is going to fit.

Question on building up a bike. How much more am I looking at for building it up from the frame, figuring that I am going to put on components that are equivalent to the quality of this frame? At least another $2,500 for everything?

I noticed too that the 2006 Bianchi line up was posted on the BianchiUSA website. The geometry and sizes for the Carbon Crono 2 have not been updated though. What's listed is for the 2005 Crono aluminum frame. The Bianchi.it website has this frame listed in 3 sizes (Small, Medium, & Large).

I'd like to see some pictures from Interbike and also get a review from one of the bike fit experts on this forum. Demerly sells Bianchi's and he's had several requests for a preliminary review on this frame but has not responded.

R U positive that Demerly sells Bianchi? I was on his site, but they didn't list Bianchi anywhere that I can see.

The big question on that is wheels. A $5000 set of campy Bora's would look great on that frame, but a pair of Zipps can be found for 1700. For even less money ($600-1400), I might look at HED Alps, Stingers, or a Trispoke

It is completely doable to build the bike up with that 2500, but look to ultegra 10 or Campy chorus/Centuar mix with an independent crank. Then you can spend some $$$ on wheels. Plus, even though MSRP is $2500 on the frame, a large bianchi dealer will sell it for a couple hundred dollars less.

Tom sells Bianchi at BikeSports...I purchased a Bianchi from Tom. I thought by now he would take us up on our offer for a review on the Crono Carbon frame. Like I requested earlier, I'd like to hear from the bike fit experts what they think of this frame for a long leg / short torso rider. The geometry is listed in the 2006 catalog on the bianchi.com website.
