I'm with Art on this. That's what I did. It worked with golf, too. I shot a 77 and quit.

Wow, you did better than me. I only took three years. Well, I'm 49. That may have something to do with it.
Oooooh wait! I didn't finish a half-marathon a couple years back. Struck with appendicitus (sp?) at mile six. Rushed to the hospital as it burst. The morphene was fun, though.

man, I hope not as I'm only 26 and have had two DNFs already both stumbling around in a daze close to the finish. Nothing that bad about a DNF, just makes you want to finish the next even more!
18 years no DNFs & no penalties. In another 2 years I will have been doing triathlons for 1/2 of my life :-)
