Simple question. I haven't been training on my aerobars. Started riding them say... 2 weeks ago. After my last ride (~80km hills) my plantar fasciitis started acting up a couple of hours later. This is the first time I felt it since last year. So, do I
(in other words: are the benefits of aerobars worth it? I don't think so as I've been doing some TT workouts with my club with no bars and feeling pretty strong.)
- race my bike with no aerobars, knowing 90% chance that I won't be overstretching my hamstrings (which I hadn't been stretching religiously lately)
- race with the aerobars and possibly bring back my PF symptoms, worst case during the run of my race on Sunday
