There is an interview with Norman Stadler on the xtri.com website where he slams the new stagger rule used at Kona. His perspective as a bike stud is certainly how I feel (and I'm a much better runner than biker!) and I hope they ditch this silly rule before long course racing goes the way of the pseudo-triathlon ITU style racing. Surely over 180km the lead group can spread out enough, no matter what type of course they are riding, that drafting is a easy to enforce.
