Hard to tell but like you said it does look pretty deep from that angle. I didn't scroll through for more pics though.

You can see his third brake lever and cable pretty well though.

Looks like an 808 clincher to me. The disk is a curiosity though, since I'm unaware of a zipp disk with an aluminum braking surface. Maybe Zipp will start to make clincher disks. Anyhow, this seems to put the lie to the claim that all the top pros use tubulars.

The disk is clearly a re-badged lenticular HED ;) CSC have been reading BTR.

Maybe what looks like Alu is just a well-worn section of carbon? Heaven forbid that anyone race on clinchers ;0) Maybe they're even old Supercomps ???

That's just the carbon brake surface. I'm guessing some brake pad residue. I have some pictures of me riding my 404 clinchers that really look like they're tubulars. It's odd.

And it looks like he's on an 808 and a disc.
