Viagra lowering heart rate?
I was reading that Viagra may be good for lowering your heart rate during endurance sports (sports besides in the bedroom).

Anybody know of any benefits of taking Viagra before races, etc?

It will vasodilate, but exercise itself induces vasodilation in skeletal muscle. Hsrd to imagine it would make much difference, except you'd have to bike with a woody.

This is the only recreational drug I would ever consider using.

Go to the search at the bottom of the page and type in Viagra. Some of this was covered about a month ago, but mostly that thread was concerned with Viagra as an aid to recovery, I believe.

In that thread I "outted" myself as a Viagraman, and I was sort of disappointed that no one else admitted to being a user. Is it maybe possible that of all the STers out there, I'm the only one who uses Viagra? And is this a reflection of the general age of STers being quite young (I'm 56)....or are STers generally a more permanently-studly bunch?!?
