Ouzo Pro on OCLV frame?
Has anyone tried this combo? I've got a new 60cm Trek 5500 frame awaiting build up and am interested in putting a reynolds 1 1/8" ouzo pro w/ carbon steerer on it with campy components. I've got a dedicated tri bike and this bike will take the brunt of my group training miles. What rake should I look for? I don't want to play with the handling characteristics too much but am interested to hear from Trek owners as to what you'd change about your bike if you could. Any thoughts? Thanks,

Ken

I just put an easton EC90 SL fork on my OCLV. 43mm rake (i think). On my old OCLV I had an Ouzo Proi (1 inch), same rake. Both handle beautifully (no hands stable, including in a light crosswind) but also nice and responsive cornering, a good road race bike. If I was building a bike for criteriums, I might go for a 45mm rake to get quicker handling.
