Campy to Shimano & vice versa!!!!
Saw an interesting, simple, ingenious little product this weekend. A rider for our shop's club, the Gopher Wheelmen, who also happens to be a bit of an engineer, has started making a variety of pulleys to convert the cable pull ratios of popular shimano and campagnolo drive trains.

The most useful one converts a campy 10spd cable pull into shimano 10spd pull and vice versa. (you are then able to run campy ergo levers with a shimano rear derailleur OR shimano STI levers with a campy rear derrailleur) It's a very simple pulley design, a lot like the Avid rolamajig, except the pulley has two radii (sp?). The pulley's circumferences change the pull ratio of the cable so that the derailleurs work flawlessly. At the same time, you gain the advantages of having a rollamajig - staightening your cable routing a bit.

In addition to just a campy to shimano conversion, he has three or four other pulleys to convert 9spd to 10spd and other such conversions.

His name is Jay Guthrie, lives in the Minneapolis Area, organizes the Blackdog TT series (I think) and the product is called the EZ shifter or E-Z shifter or maybe just easy-shifter.

The Dude abides.
