what is the easiest way to get my bike from tx to paris. is this going to cost a shit ton of money?

fly it with you. Bike fly free international. they will probably charge you if the flight has a connection in the US for the US leg.

I may be reading something wrong but i think it says that bikes fly free on domestic flights with America West and Frontier, neither airline goes to france any way.
they have and have not flown free for me on AW. Policy on AW is to charge for bikes. A guy I coach wife works for AW. He has had to pay for his bike.
