i'm a collegiate cyclist and am travelling a few hundred miles to our first race with my team tomorrow. because of the carpooling situation all our bikes will be on a roofrack. I am racing with deep profile carbon rims, could there be any possible damage on the rear wheel being strapped down on the roof. I'm also in New York and it's cold, does that make a difference? I can put a different rear wheel on just for the trip down but I would rather not if I'm just being paranoid. Thanks.
