I don't recognize the name and he has done some major ass kickin'. With times like that why doesn't he do any other races? Look at his swim and run times in 2003!!!

I think he is in the army for an Eastern European country and does not have much money to travel to races. There is a good story on him on Xtri somewhere. One year he was robbed on the way to Austria and had his bike stolen, he arrived off a few hours sleep, borrowed a bike and still won.

Google, and ye shall know.

Pretty impressive story - definitely brings new meaning to "its not about the bike"!

Good article. There should definitely be more written about this guy. The more I think about it I am amazed.

I wonder how much training time he puts in per week?

I imagine he is not heading to south for winter training.

Enquiring minds want to know.

I know Viktor. Teammate of mine last year - Doesn't speak much English, but great guy. He was training here in Florida for about 3 months last year.

The day before St. Anthony's, he flies in from the Ukrayne. Huge jet-lag, huge time difference, he still manages 10th at the pro race. Impressive to me.
