I agree with the knucklehead comment. Just thought I would let people who are interested in racing know about the rule, good or bad.

If you run disc rather than canti brakes then Greg will never see you at the starting line of the A's because the aren't allowed. One less racer to contend with. But that's just a guess.
Disc are great on a mtb, but if you think you'll ever race, get a legal bike.

I recently bought a Giant TCX and would strongly recommend checking out this frame. It is Al with carbon fork and 'compact' design.
Thanks for the input everyone. I made my decision and I have a Redline Conquest Pro with Redline Carbon Fork on order. I got a killer deal, thanks Duman, at Bicycle Doctor in Bloomington IN.
