I know that there have been a couple of threads about saddleco http://www.saddleco.com/

My particular question is for those of you who have ridden this saddle, do you notice the plactic railings around the mesh when you go down on the aerobars?

Also what is the drop from your saddle to your aerobars?

Last spring I bought the Saddleco saddle and tried it on a 50 mile training ride. BIG mistake!!! While it was extremely comfortable and eliminated hot spots, the plastic shell rubbed a blister on my thigh.

I wrote their customer service and explained the problem. They said to "twist" the saddle so it aligned to me. Tried it, didn't work.

Went back to my LBS and returned the saddle. They told me that every one they sold has been returned.

since then my LBS has started a saddle library and they let yo test saddles for a week for $5, with the money applied to your purchase.

My recommendation - dump the saddle!

I personally LOVE the saddle. You can ask 100 people though and they will give you different opinions so it's a tough question.

Best bet, see if you can borrow one from a shop or ask to purchase a demo one. Personally, I've ridden almost every other saddle and this one is the best.
