Workouts for 25 meter pool

I'm getting bored with my standard array of swim workouts, and most of what I find online are for 25 yard or 50 meter pools.

Does anybody have any good workouts designed for 25 meter pools, preferably in the 2500 - 3500 meter range?

It's simple convert the yard workouts to meters by adding about 10% to the intervals or just do the 50M workouts. There should be no change

Your workouts should be about the same for 25 yards and 25 meters.

Here is an interesting one I do. It is called beat the segments. Swim 500 meters and check your 400 time on the way out. Rest 30 sec. Swim 400 meters faster than the 400 time you hit going out for the 500. Check your 300 time on your way out to the 400. Rest 30 sec. Swim 300 faster than the 300 you just noticed. Check your 200 time on the way out to the 300. Do the same for your 200, checking your 100 time. Your last 100 should be the fastest swim of the set.

Your first 500 sets the tone for the rest of the swim. It gets progressively faster as the swim gets shorter. If you need a longer set, start with a 600 and you will have a 2100 meter set or 2300 yards.

Here are a couple of my personal fav's (I mean suffer-fests). I put in my pace times as a guide (ie for me, 1:30/100m is about what I can hold consistently for 4-800m.

workout 1:

warmup: [150sw/100kk; 150sw/100pull; 150sw/100dr] x 2

mainset: 5 x 100m descend 1 to 5

5 x 200m on 3:05

cool: 200m choice



workout 2 (this one is if you're going long):

warmup: [150sw/100kk; 150sw/100pull; 150sw/100dr] x 2 OR 200msw/200m kick/200 pull/200 IM

main: 3 x 800m on 13:00

cooldown: 100m choice and crawl home to bed
