Not used the D-A (as I'm a Campy man) but been using the 10sp with no problems. Shifting as good as ever and no '1 time only' connecting pins.

I run Campy Record 10z, but use D/A 10z chains because they are thinner and cheaper. I just swapped out that D/A for a Wipperman yesterday since the D/A had 2500 miles on it (which I think is fairly long for D/A). Ahhhhhhhhhh, the joy of that Connex link!!! It's awesome -- no more messing with that damn pin.

No more D/A for me. The Wipperman shifts just fine, and is just as quiet. I didn't think it would be, given the sliiiiiiiiiiiightly fatter width.

Anyone have any experience using the Connex link on Campy or Shimano chains?

Yes. I used the 10spd connex link on my DA-10. No problems. Probably extend chain life as I take it off to clean it now instead of just using a chain machine.

Yep -- have one on my wife's C10 chain. She rarely rides, so I rarely need to remove it. Runs perfectly.

I have the mavic chain with the connex 10spd link, works perfect. Mavic states it works with all 10 spd applications, and my LBS told me the mavic chain was manufactured by connex anyway. I do find it strange that wipperman does not state their chain to be compatible with shimano 10 spd. My components are DA 10 spd with an Ultegra cassette on my trainers.

Just do not like how greasy those DA chains get, and so fast as well.

The Mavic chains are made by Wipperman and cost slightly less - go figure.
