I just got word that I was one of the random drawing selections. I am pretty pumped, but also question whether it is worth it. Aside from not racing in a qualifying race and earning my entry, 2005 is my sophomore year of tri. During my frosh year I did mostly small races < 800, with the exception of Accenture Chicago. I hated Chicago - - - I was one of the last waves, but had to have my bike in at 6am, the roads sucked, it was crowded, etc. Given my lack of experience, I put the issue to the forum - should I do it?

If the money isn't the issue I would definitely do it. The swim alone will make it a memorable experience.
