there seems to be this misconception on here that you need a big upper body to be good at swimming. this is most definitely NOT the case. sprinters are usually a bit bigger than longer distance swimmers. pieter van den hoogenband, fastest man ever over 100m free, can hardly be said to be massive in the upper body. here are some pics to clarify a few things for people.
