Hey STers,

Anyone had success with a PT or a sports injury specialist in NYC?

Thanks in advance.

These guys are great - can't go wrong with Dr. Amico, Duggan or Duke.

Their walls are covered with signed photos of all the world class marathoners they keep healthy.

PM if you have any questions...

Marc Bochner - great guy, triathlete - got me to the start of IMLP 2x.

If you need an an othopedist look up Dr. Rob Gotlin at Beth Isreal. Treated me for herniated disc 10 years ago. eventually lead to a microdiscectomy but it wasn't from a lack of effort on his part.

x2 on Doc Boc.

For PT, I've used Rob at HSS with great success.

the most amazing physical therapists I've ever met are opening a NYC location beginning of november on broadway. Neurosport physical therapy and neurotour work with the broadway dancers and all kinds of athletes. If you're still in need of pt in nov, natalie should have the doors opened.

Theresa at HSS. I tore my ACL. Dr. Hannafin at HSS did the surgery (great dr.) and she recommended me to Theresa.
Excellent
After going to her all the other PT's I've ever seen afterwards were never even close.

Its a good hospital...I had my ACL done there like I said. Unfortunately I've been there a bunch of times for my back issues and I will be there next week for that as well.
Dr. Hannafin for knees and shoulders and Dr. Farmer for your back I would suggest. I don't know anybody for hamstrings there. I'll ask around at my job though.
Good luck
