Swam nude this morning see if that would reduce drag. Drag remained the same but my steering improved.

Depending upon the size of that keel you might be harder to tip over in those mass starts also. Would itonly be a warm water advantage? But, in contrast, would it give the competitors something else to grab to slow you down? Better cogitate on the pros and cons before using on race day, at least in an A race.

uhh thats probably going to slow you down. you just can't put a keel on a boat anywhere and expect it to go faster. It needs to be hydrodynamically designed. From your previous posts you've mention that your length to width ratio is all wrong for increasing hydrodynamics.
