Was at my LBS today and they had a pair of Reynolds Status DV tubulars for $CDN1700
The LBS I'm looking at says they were listed for $CDN2300 earlier in the year and they are trying to unload them. They say next year's model (which apparently is no different) will be 15-20% more.
I had been thinking about Zipp 404s or the HEDs but haven't made up my mind.
Current MSRP seems to be about $1400 US and some online shops seem to have this but then you always have to worry about shipping and customs fees etc to get them to Canada.
So the big question:
Is this a price to jump at? (especially given TomD's explanation a couple weeks ago about prices going up on Zipps in the New Year?)
Or should I just keep looking and try to catch a pair of Zipp 404s on ebay?
