And yes, as long as I have wireless Internet connection from the mountain, I will be posting pics and results live as it happens.

Don't worry, if I go, I will provide enough embarassment to cover you and anybody else who can't make it!

Here's a plea for more slowpokes to show up so I'm not drinking my hot chocolate alone at the top.

Awesome! Gary, I'd still like to mount a camera on my handlebars for this one, and either have it running on the video option, or to take pictures automatically every 30-60sec so we can show all the people who missed it what they did or did not miss. Have you seen any decent setups for mounting a camera on the bars?, you seem to know every other question I ask.

A-

Check out:

They have just about every type of mount/attachment you can think up. I've used their products in various forms on motorcycles successfully. Do you have an aluminum handlebar? I'd be a bit weary of a carbon bar.......perhaps stating the obvious.

Wish I could join you all.....

now that is funny. I just hope I am in decent enough shape by the end of January. Dan, I hope you've started training by now.

My brother in law has one of these. We have used it for ski flicks. Works great.

Tough to tell what's going on there. Is that like a remote cam for camcorders? They make it sound like you plug it into a camcorder or something like that, I'm a bit confused, though it looks cool.

Nice.

I start training for this event tomorrow!!

I think Mike should have to ride all the way up in his 60 tooth Front Sprocket so some of us have a chance to keep up!!

I just hope that I am in good shape by then. Just started back on the bike two weeks ago after a 6 week break from riding. Rode Palomar on Monday this week in a slightly pedestrian 75 minutes.

I can't believe that nobody has debated the climbing style of Slowman vs. the style of "the mysterious Postal rider".

You guys are slipping.

actually, that's my face on the postal rider and the styles of both are quite accurate, I love to stand a lot and Slowman sits a lot.

I didn't recognize you without the clipboard (since the only time I've seen you was at last month's meeting). :)
