does st forum positioning tips help?
I look at all the posts on positioning that I see, and Titan's post has me curious. For the st-ers who have posted their positions pics on the forum have you impletmented the recomendations and have they helped? All the posters seem to get some pretty interesting comments other then positioning, (ie loose weight, shave your legs, your dad is hot, bla bla bla), but besides the general comments has the advice helped?

Thanks,

RF

I would wager the advice and debate about positioning on this forum and others does help. I would suggest its primary benefit is to get people thinking about their bike position and asking questions and arming them with some knowledge about bike fit as well.

Emmulating the positions they see photos of on here probably is not a benefit of participating in the discussion though since each person is unique and positions aren't generic- so it isn't about just making yourself look like someone else does on the bike.

ok, it's true that some of the "critique my position" style posts turn into bullsh*t chat but between all that "normal" crap, usually there's something that should help you improve your positioning. Check out the latest thread about it.. there's "shave your legs" kinda of stuff but there's also some advice.

C'mon, post you pic :-)
