A blog is a personal website anyone can set up to post daily musings, pictures, essays, etc. Anyone from Joe on the street to athletes to reporters to celebrities can set one up. Basically, it's a public diary. One of my favorites is www.lileks.com.

Lileks is a funny man. Do you ever listen to him when he is on Hugh Hewitt's readio show? At first I didn't know what to make of hime but I think he really funny, but bright.

Amy, does that site allow one to put up pictures for free? I started a blog at blogger.com and it turns out you need some special account that isn't free to put pictures in. No pictures, no blog for me.

Blog is short for "web log."
