I didn't do MIM last year but the year prior they had way too many problems getting the event started. They had cars parked on the course, etc., etc. It was at least three hours delayed from the start. That was part of my reasoning for not attending the event in 2004. I can only imagine what the professional athletes were thinking during the delays. But in defense of MIM it is one of my favorite tris in the southeast that is near my home. It's a great event to get the season rolling. However I think I'll travel to Disney and do the half down there during the month of May.

That is so weird. On the Memphis in May website about 2-3 weeks ago I distinctly remembering them noting that the MIM had been selected for the 2005 SE regional champs. Now, that statement is gone from the website.
