This is cool. How do you go about setting up a blog? Will it host photos?

Thanks for putting that up.

Tom, I just started a blog on this same site and I've yet to figure out the photo deal. It's not quite as easy as posting a photo here on Slowtwitch, at least not through tinypic.com which I've been using to host photos.

Hey, I didn't know you really had bunnies! I thought the name came from something else (like maybe you had a cute tail!!). I'm thinking about buying some bunnies for my girls since cats and dogs are definitely out - as per DH - so maybe I'll be posting some questions about bunnies soon. Thanks for posting the link to your blog. Keep it up and let us know when you have pics up.

The name comes from many things that are bunny-like ;^)

Bunnies are a lot like cats. Even though they look sooo cute that you could hug 'em all day, they are not like that. Think of Bugs Bunny and you will have the typical disposition of a house rabbit.

From age six months to about two years old, bunnies get to be in their "teen angst" years, and they can become hard to handle. This is where patience comes into play. Also, getting them fixed as soon as your vet sees fit will help in this regard.

Trixie is 1.5 yrs old, and she is JUST getting a bit mellower. Trigger, a five month old, is starting to be a bit roudy. But thank the Great Bunny that I am a patient old rabbit.

A good breed to start with is a dutch dwarf. That's what Trixie is.

[reply] How do you go about setting up a blog? Will it host photos?[/reply]

many ways to set up a blog, an easy one is
http://www.bloglines.com
and it's free.
That one doesn't host photos, though. But to publish photos, just host them on one of the other free sites,
http://tinypic.com/
for example, and link to it in the blog posting,

"It is a good feeling for old men who have begun to fear failure, any sort of failure, to set a schedule for exercise and stick to it. If an aging man can run a distance of three miles, for instance, he knows that whatever his other failures may be, he is not completely wasted away." Romain Gary, SI interview
