flying with a Softride
Looking for advice on packing a Softride for a flight to Hawaii. Flying out of Vancouver, via LAX to Hawaii (on United) next year. Back through LAX and Portland to Vancouver. I know standard bikes break down and fit in bike bags or boxes. How does one deal with a Softride? Suggestions please/thanks.

Take the entire beam off at the pivot bolts if you have a rocket. For a classic drop the beam and take the seat assembly off. Just mark your beam and where you seat was. Take measurements!

It's a PowerWing 650 - probably 5 or 6 years old.

Mark the height of the beam and make the placement of the seat bracket. Unscrew the bolts and slide the bracket off the beam.
