I just did my first Marathon yesterday as part of my training for my first IM next year.... My main reason doing this marathon it was to test my body after 30km running ....
Yesterday it was a bad test.... until de 30km mark I was running strong and very confident... ( 5 min / km ) suddenly my body just ran out fuel... and all the pain started in both of my knees..... I struggled to finish after 3h 52 min ....
Now I'm really thinking about doing a IM Race... This could be really painfull.!!!!... How can you guys do a race like that ????? I don't know if my mind will recover after this race... I hope so .. because I was really excited about doing a IM race...
