I read the rview on Chicago The Bike Shop and noticed that theye cannot carry certain bike lines...I understand the reasoning for this, but is there a specific "distance" a bike shop needs to be from another established shop to seel certain line, or is it an individual judgement call by the companies.

For example, If Rich simply moved his shop XX miles farther from MIssion Bay, could he sell Felt, Cervelo, etc.
