I, too, have been trying to find a third-party review of this thing, but so far, zilch. I posted the same question here. Again, zilch. I don't want to be the guinea (sp?) pig on this.

A local swim shop here in San Diego says they're getting them in, and the owner said she might just open one and try it. She said she doesn't want to sell these things if she can't recommend them.

If I hear anything on this, I'll let you know. Please do the same for me.

I think everyone's kind of holding out for reviews since none of the other alleged swim radios has ever reallt worked well. I'd guess we start getting good feedback the first couple weeks after the Christmas presents are opened.

We're a Finis dealer, and our SwiMP3s have been backordered for about 3 weeks. I would *love* to have them in the shop before xmas, but this might be one of those products that's announced in time for the holidays but doesn't actually ship. I'm pretty annoyed at Finis because we have a few customers waiting for them.

If/when we get a few, I'll try one out and post a review.
