Armstrong vs. Kobayashi

quoted from the article:
"But with consecutive victories at the Nathan's hot dog contest and now the Krystal championship, Kobayashi has proven he's not the Lance Armstrong of competitive eating, but that Lance Armstrong is the Kobayashi of cycling," IFOCE global expansion director Dave Baer told The Post's Gersh Kuntzman.

I got this from a fellow cyclist, funny how we've (cyclists) penetrated the mainstream. That skinny little Japanese guy gets like $10,000 per contest for winning. Yikes.

I couldn't read the article (link) but if you are talking about the competitive eating, that shit is funny to watch it's amazing how people take it so serious, maybe people look a triathletes the way I looked at competitive eating being that some of us run in their speedo's. Long live the underware run.

I think that it is a stretch to say that cycling being mentioned along with competitive eating is mainstream.

Kobayashi is obviously on some sort of drug. All the big hot dog eaters are. There is too much money not to be on something (even if it is just Tums).

"They said someone who enjoys mustard would never win Nathan's" - Kobayashi.

I thought it was going to be the dude from Usual Suspects. But then Lance would be the Keyser Söze of cycling
