Thanks Amy and Vince!!!

I went as fast as I could but had a small problem with my knee near the end and walked the last 4 miles. If not for that I would have gone under 12 hrs. I'll see you guys on saturday. I feel really good now and will do some really light training for the next few weeks so I can recover fully.

Jaret,

No swimming on Saturday; gym is closed for a craft show (I couldn't make that up). Look forward to hearing about the IM at practice after Thanksgiving.

Thanks for the update; I didn't know about Sat.'s cancellation. I missed last week because hubby had to work that morning:( I guess it's Lifetime Fitness for me Sat. morning.

Congrats Jaret. You looked good everytime I saw you out there. Way to hold it together.

Recovery after an IM means 'no training' - give yourself a break man, you deserve it. It typically takes me about 4-6 weeks to recover after IM. Don't rush it. One way to tell is to take your Resting Morning Heart Rate. When it's back to normal, you can train lightly.

Great job!
