The rim is brand new - never seen the road. I just got it back from Zipp last week - they replaced the rim that had a small crack. The original spokes and zipp hub are from a 2005 wheelset that I bought new. The hub was used for a few triathlons and road races - I would estimate 500 miles. I took really good care of the original wheel and always stored it in my spare bedroom.
The 2008 rim saw many upgrades in both structure and bracking surface. This wheel new currently sells for $1150. Get it cheaper here. I had to pay $400 just to get it replaced - I can show you the receipt upon request.
Comes with Zipp skewer. The hub is the Shimano compatible version. It has a few marks from use, but Zipp checked it out and said it's in perfect working order.
