That's terrific news. I used to ride the path when I lived in Monroe county up to Plymouth all of the time to get to speed skating practice. My buddy and I would use the section between Hines and 5 mile for speed training weekly.
With the paths between Willow, Oakwood and Lower Huron Metroparks, this would connect them to Hines park and would make up about 50 miles of bike paths. Then if we could somehow connect them to the South Lyon Rail trail that could get people out to Island Lake or Kensington.
