I'm not sure about your lock specifically, but I went home and tried this with my cylinder lock and did it twice. If you can fit the pen roughly around the lock cylinder, my guess is that it will work.

I have not seen the video or articles. Could you PM me about it? When I was about 12 I lost the key for my lock and my dad had me saw the lock with a hacksaw to "teach" me responsibility. My son, who is 11, uses a kryptonite cable and lock and he will probably lose his key too. Thanks for the help.
