Jenhs: Saw you out there on the course (funny how the BOP recognize each other). I also had a lousy swim. Unlike you, I hated the bike - what a tough course - and that bad attitude didn't help. Also unlike you, I hate running. So, I walked most of the marathon (ran the downhills). Having said that, I thought the bike cutoff was 5 pm so I hammered it into the wind (coz the hills killed me and I can do wind no problem), and I was so thrilled to get out onto the run course that I think I am more sore from smiling than anything else! And after 16:12, I can officially call myself an Ironman. Can't say I'm dying to do it again, but it sure was fun while it lasted. Anyone know of an easier bike course in case I decide to do this again some day???

IM Florida... it's flat as a pancake... and sounds closer to home for you! :) Congrats on your finish, and "never say never" about doing another one... tee, hee!
