Seriously, look at Merckx's record. At one point he was winning 1 in 3 races he entered. He had 485 victories in a 17 year career. He was continually at the top of the Super Prestige Pernod trophy (the equivalent of the modern World Cup).

In the side it listed all of his victores (a shitload), then in the center it said something like 'His Legacy (or History I can't remember) your Future' or something along those lines.
Eddy was a monster. You just can't compare him with anyone.
I really do feel sorry for his son though, living in the shadow of his dad and knowing you'll never be that great. Oh well Axel is still a good rider (and he's really tall too - something like 1.90m).

Oh I can't do that...You Cervelo owners are a cult...almost as bad as those Softride owners. I should know, I was a Softride owner for 6 years.
I now ride a Colnago for my tri bike, and a Specialized for my road bike...
