Recommended width for TUFO S3 Lites
Going to buy a set of these tubulars, and was looking for some recomendations on the best width for me.

The dilemma is whether I should get a 19mm for front and a 21 for rear, or 21mm for both? Don't think I want 19 on the rear.

Issues:

How rough will the ride be, and with my weight, I do not want to run a big risk of a blowout due to a too narrow tire....

Specs:

I weigh ~175 lbs

These are for racing only, and I plan to do up to Half IM & IM distances on them.

I live in Texas, so the roads can be rough.

The wheelset they will be going on is HED Deep rear, and HED 60 front.

Thanks for any help.

I used to run a 22f 22r but switched to a 19f 22r on the advice (and the fact they were out of 22s when my front flatted). Plus I found out I'm the only one of thier sponsored riders who wasn't running a 19 up front mainly because they all bring thier wheels in to be set up and I do mine at home. I'm 150lbs and riding a Cannondale IM 5000 with Carbon wheels. I don't mind the 19 at all and actually think it corners better than the 22 did. Can't tell much of a difference from the 22 harshness wise
