I'd like to post pics of some stuff I want to sell. I can't paste in pics the way that I'm used to.

Can someone help or is the only method posting them on flick'r or some other site?

You have to have the pic hosted somewhere (tinypic.com, imageshack, etc) and be using the advanced editor option (firefox on a mac, or IE/Firefox on a PC). Click on the pic icon on the toolbar and paste in the url.
